Our Kitchen Measurement Guide

Planning your new kitchen starts with accurate measurements. Use this simple guide to help us understand your space.

Step 1: Draw Your Floor Plan

Sketch the outline of your kitchen on a piece of paper. It doesn’t have to be perfect, just a rough shape of the room.

Step 2: Measure the Walls

Measure the total length of each wall from corner to corner. Write these measurements on your drawing.

Step 3: Locate Openings

Measure the width of all doors and windows. Note their distance from the nearest corner. Don’t forget to include the trim in your measurements!

Step 4: Note Fixed Objects

Mark the location of permanent fixtures like the sink, stove, refrigerator, and any radiators or vents. Measure their width and their distance from the nearest corner.

Step 5: Measure Ceiling Height

Measure the distance from the floor to the ceiling in a few different spots to check for variations.

Bring this rough sketch to your consultation, and our design team will take it from there!
